We are already halfway through the year! As July begins and we celebrate Emancipation Day, I’ve been reflecting on this word Freedom. It’s something I’ve always wanted, and its a core part of my work. Those who came before us fought hard to secure the “Freedom” we have today. This Freedom is something to be celebrated of course, AND, it feels like there is still so much work to be done.
True Freedom is neither a passive process nor a one-time event. It requires conscious effort and commitment. Personally, I choose to maintain my Freedom through practices that support my mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. I’m constantly learning and finding ways to share how we can collectively unlearn the beliefs, habits, and conditioning that keeps us from experiencing True Freedom, which is our birthright.
What we can learn from those who came before us is that attaining Freedom requires strategic collective action and resilience. Coming together for these same self-care practices is a profound way to cultivate that collective strength and unwavering spirit needed for our ongoing journey toward liberation. We need this now more than ever.

📣 Announcing Kids Wellness Sessions!
I'm so excited to share that I’m bringing wellness practices to the kiddos!
I had the incredible opportunity this past month to lead yoga and mindfulness sessions at a summer camp, and the experience was truly heartwarming. This opportunity came after completing a children's yoga teacher training.
I am currently hosting weekly kids' classes every Wednesday at 3:00 pm AST at the VI Children's Museum! We explore fun ways to help build resilience, focus, and self-awareness through age-appropriate movement, breathwork, and imaginative play. These sessions are designed to be a playful and supportive space where kids can learn valuable tools for navigating their emotions, life, and finding inner peace.
I’ll also be at the Mango Melee Tropical Fruit and Mango Festival in St. Croix on Sunday, July 13th 11:00 am - 5:00 pm AST. If you’re there, look out for me!
